At IMMO Investment Technologies UK Ltd, we are building Europe’s largest buying platform for residential real estate. We are changing the way people sell, lease and interact with their properties, while allowing investors to create bespoke residential portfolios at scale.
Our company was founded by a team of London Business School alumni and start-up founders who have previously worked for, amongst others, Blackstone, McKinsey, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Freshfields, with a strong track record in Real Estate, Private Equity, M&A and many successful entrepreneurial ventures.
Who we are looking for:
Do you want to work with an exciting early-stage venture in London, that is fully funded by a top 3 European VC? There is an opportunity to convert a very entrepreneurial internship into a full-time position as a legal counsel with key responsibilities.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, hard-working, self-sufficient and pro-active team player with an excellent academic track-record and professional skill set.
Key objectives:
– To help built our core acquisition business in the UK and establish a strategy for the continental (German) market; and
– To help develop additional products for investors at the cross-section of property technology and fintech.
Your tasks:
– Support the General Counsel in day-to-day tasks;
– Research in the fields of international real estate, banking and capital market law; and
– Help to develop a go-to market strategy for a new fintech/property-tech product.
Your profile:
– First State Examination in Law with merits (vollbefriedigend);
– Fluent in English;
– Commercially-minded with a strong interest in the fintech/property tech industry;
– Self-starter who takes initiative and makes things happen! But also knows when to ask for help;
– Good attitude and communication skills;
– Nice to haves:
o Knowledge of German and European banking and capital markets law; and
o Experience in real estate;
o Spanish language skills.
